The Proverbial Wallet plays on a very real problem in today’s world: consumers can’t control their impulses.
The project, led by the Information Ecology group at the MIT Media Lab, involved four wallets with special features - each one toys with “un-abstracting virtual assets” to recreate the physical feeling of budgeting at a point of purchase.
The best one is definitely The Peacock - They not only make it grow and shrink based on your balance, but they also put it on display in order to “attract potential mates!”
